Hani Barhoush is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mubadala Capital, the asset management subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, a global sovereign investor with approximately $302 billion in assets under management, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this capacity, Hani leads all investment and operational activities across Mubadala Capital's four core businesses. Under his leadership, the firm has expanded significantly, now employing over 200 people across five global offices, and manages over $25billion of AUM, two-thirds of which comes from third-party capital.

In addition to his leadership at Mubadala Capital, Hani serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Diversified Investments platform at Mubadala Investment Company, overseeing investment businesses focused on Credit, Growth, and Special Opportunities.

Since joining Mubadala in 2004, Hani has had several leadership roles at the firm and has been instrumental in driving the firm’s growth and evolution. He has extensive experience managing complex, bespoke, cross-border transactions and has led numerous high-profile partnerships throughout his tenure.

Prior to joining Mubadala, Hani worked as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner &amp; Smith in New York.

Hani holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS) from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He also earned a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Harvard Law School.

Hani Barhoush

Mr. Fahlgren joined Mubadala Investment Company in 2010 and has held multiple senior roles in the organization. He is currently the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Brazil for Mubadala Capital, a wholly owned asset management subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company.

Mr. Fahlgren led Mubadala's investment into the EBX group as well as all subsequent related restructuring work and acquisitions. Prior to joining Mubadala, Mr. Fahlgren was an Associate Director with Terra Firma Capital Partners in London.

Mr. Fahlgren received his Master of Laws (LLM) from Uppsala University, Sweden.

Oscar Fahlgren

Khaled is Mubadala Capital’s Chief Financial Officer, where he oversees all operational and financial reporting functions for the business.

He joined Mubadala Investment Company in 2007 as financial controller, where he supported the finance team in major M&amp;A transactions.

Prior to joining Mubadala, Khaled was an external auditor (Public Accountant) for BDO International from 2001 to 2007 in Saudi Arabia in charge of major audit engagements in different sectors.

He graduated from the Yarmouk University with a B.S. in Accounting, and is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Khaled Awad

Rodney joined Mubadala Investment Company in 2008, and served as the General Counsel for Mubadala Capital and as Group General Counsel for Mubadala Investment Company until 2017. He then joined Shearman &amp; Sterling LLP as a Partner in its Global M&amp;A practice where he focused on complex mergers and acquisitions and joint venture transactions as well as various funds and private equity investments, with a particular emphasis on advising sovereign wealth funds and state-owned enterprises.

Rodney returned to Mubadala in 2020 as the General Counsel for Mubadala Capital and a member of the Mubadala Capital Investment Committee.

He began his career as an Associate with the law firm of Allens in Melbourne, and also worked in the corporate group of Linklaters in London and Clifford Chance in Hong Kong.

Rodney graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws and holds an International MBA from IE in Madrid.

Rodney Cannon

Kevin Kokko joined Mubadala in 2008 and is the Co-Head of Private Equity for Mubadala Capital and a member of the Mubadala Capital Investment Committee. Mr. Kokko has a background in investment banking with Citigroup in Toronto and London and has previously worked for the Office of Tony Blair first in one of Mr. Blair’s charities, Africa Governance Initiative, and most recently in Mr. Blair’s commercial business, Tony Blair Associates, where he was a Director of Advisory and Principal Strategies.

Mr. Kokko graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario with an Honors in Business Administration degree.

Kevin Kokko

Adib Mattar joined Mubadala in 2008 and is the Head of Private Equity for Mubadala Capital and a member of the Mubadala Capital Investment Committee. Prior to joining Mubadala, Mr. Mattar was a banker with Credit Suisse’s Energy investment banking team in New York. Mr. Mattar currently serves as a board member for Parking Platform and Reigning Champs.

Mr. Mattar graduated from the College of William &amp; Mary in Virginia with a B.A. in International Relations, and he holds an MBA and Masters of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS) from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.&nbsp; Mr. Mattar is a Fellow at the Aspen Institute.

Adib Martin Mattar

Fatima joined Mubadala in 2011 and is the Co-Head of Mubadala Capital Solutions, where she oversees the permanent capital strategy, Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners and separately managed accounts. She has over twelve years of experience in funds and direct private equity investments. Fatima also serves on the boards of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and K-MAC Enterprises.​

Fatima graduated magna cum laude from the Higher Colleges of Technology with a B.S. in Business Administration. She is also a CFA and CAIA charterholder.

Fatima Al Noaimi

Maxime joined Mubadala in 2008 and was a founding member of Mubadala Capital in 2011 where he currently is the Co-Head of Mubadala Capital Solutions.

Since the founding of Mubadala Capital, Maxime has held a number of senior positions across the firm, most recently acting as the Head of Public Investments where he was overseeing Mubadala Capital’s public market initiatives. Prior experiences at Mubadala Capital includes having worked on a number of private market transactions.&nbsp;

Prior to joining Mubadala in 2008, Maxime worked in the Mergers &amp; Acquisitions group of Dresdner Kleinwort and R.W. Baird in London.

Maxime graduated with First Class Honors from Queen Mary College, University of London.

Maxime Franzetti

Ibrahim is the Head of Ventures at Mubadala Capital, the wholly owned asset management subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, a $284 billion sovereign investor. Ibrahim joined Mubadala in 2006.

In his role, Ibrahim is responsible for leading Mubadala Capital’s ventures strategy with a focus on technology and healthcare. In 2016, Ibrahim launched the ventures platform in San Francisco, and has overseen a cross-discipline team that has invested in over 100 companies. Ibrahim also leads Mubadala’s partnerships with some of the leading technology investors globally.

Prior to launching the ventures platform, Ibrahim built and led Mubadala’s strategy in semiconductors and advanced technology. He is one of the founders of GlobalFoundries, a global semiconductor leader and one of the leading manufacturing companies in the world. Ibrahim started his career working for various companies in Silicon Valley and for Occidental Petroleum in Abu Dhabi.&nbsp;

Ibrahim also serves as co-founder of The Ajami Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Lebanon, given the economic and social crisis that the country is facing.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Ibrahim holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California.

Ibrahim Ajami

Anthony Paniccia joined Mubadala Capital in 2015 and is currently the Head of Finance and Operations. Based in New York, Anthony has broad oversight of the finance, operations and administration of the organization’s third-party capital activities in private equity, ventures and Brazil.

Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, he was a Vice President at Northleaf Capital Partners from 2006 to 2014 where he managed a portfolio of private equity and venture capital investments. Anthony has significant industry experience having begun his career in investment management in 2001 with various divisions of TD Bank Financial Group.

Anthony graduated from York University in Canada with a BA and holds an MBA from Rotman School of Management – University of Toronto where he graduated as a Bregman Scholar. He also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Anthony Paniccia

Kelly Thomson is an Executive Director and Head of Capital Markets for Mubadala Capital. Based in New York, she oversees debt financings for Mubadala Capital platforms and portfolio companies and manages Mubadala Capital’s lender relationships.

Kelly joined Mubadala in 2008 and was based in Abu Dhabi for 10 years, most recently as Head of Structured Finance &amp; Capital Markets, leading a team focused on structuring and arranging debt for Mubadala and its investments across a diverse group of industries and debt product classes. Kelly also conceived the Mubadala Women Retention and Progression (mWRAP) initiative for female Mubadala employees.

Kelly has a broad expertise in corporate and asset financings, refinancings and restructurings across both bank and capital markets. Prior to joining Mubadala in 2008, Kelly worked for 10 years at Citi in both London and New York. She has a BA from Drew University and an MBA from the Darden School at University of Virginia.

Kelly Thomson

Ali Safavi is the Head of Ethics &amp; Compliance at Mubadala Capital in New York which he joined in 2019. Prior to joining Mubadala Capital, Mr. Safavi was Assistant General Counsel at Kingdon Capital. Prior to Kingdon Capital, Mr. Safavi was Legal Counsel and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at &nbsp;Emerging Sovereign Group, a member of The Carlyle Group. Mr. Safavi began his career as a Legal &amp; Compliance Officer at BNP Paribas Asset Management.

Mr. Safavi received a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he was Symposium Editor of the Fordham International Law Journal, and a B.A. in History, Political Science, and International Affairs from The George Washington University. Mr. Safavi is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

Ali Safavi

Gina&nbsp;Velliquette serves as Global Head of Human Capital for Mubadala Capital, based out of our New York Office.

With over 20 years of experience in the Human Capital space and a degree in psychology,&nbsp;Gina&nbsp;comes to us from Ares Management, where she served as the Managing Director, Co-Head of Talent, and Head of Campus Recruiting. Prior to that, she worked at Goldman Sachs &amp; Co, The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and JP Morgan Chase &amp; Co.

Gina graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BA in Psychology.
